Every time a creature attacks, it gets +1/+0 for that turn, and every time you play a land, you get another attack
And while theres no place for it in modern decks (if you really want to gain life per turn, there are better ways to do it), its an interesting bit of MTG history behind it so much so that Wizards reprinted it in the Brothers War: Retro Artifacts set

This card is a new version of the same Charizard VMAXs that appear throughout the Sword & Shield series
It is certainly an entertaining card and there are some cool interactions that are currently played, such as the Dress Down combo which annuls Deaths Shadows ability and makes him a straight up 13/13
