The fact that Fear of Infinity cant block really limits its functionality

Due to Special cards only rarely appearing, and even then only in relatively old sets (the most recent example being box toppers for 2018s Ultimate Masters ), their existence is generally better viewed as trivia rather than an active part of the game

I think they make this a fine card to run, especially if it synergizes particularly well with your decks strategy

And once Ghalta is cheap enough, you can simply drop a 12/12 Trampler into play on turn three or so while everyone else is still trying to ramp with Cultivate

Crawlspace might be an interesting way to go since I cant play Dueling Grounds
